The truth

I'm Nicole, from near Frankfurt, and I work for a bank. Until now, I've always described myself as a part-time worker, but that doesn't really describe it anymore. For a long time, I described Nicole and her "twin brother" Christian as two personalities who coexisted as equals. That was a nice explanation for my changes to others, and maybe also a little to make things easier for me. But it's not true.

I'm Nicole, Nicole Behrend, and that's it.

 

For many years, I, Nicole, lived a life of secrecy. But in 2017, I dared to step into the light and have liberated myself ever since. I want to live my life independently and in complete freedom. I'm no longer hiding—my existence is no longer a secret. Now, I move around with complete ease, not only in Neu-Isenburg and Frankfurt.

 

It's no longer a secret at the bank either. Nicole has made great strides in her new role at the bank, and I'm so grateful for the open and positive way my colleagues have responded. The positive feedback I receive from my work environment means a lot to me.
